A winner!

We've just found out that Plants of Haida Gwaii by Nancy Turner has won the BC Lieutenant-Governor's Medal for Historical Writing award! The awards ceremony will be held in Kelowna, BC, on May 14, 2005. Plants of Haida Gwaii was a project Nancy worked on in conjunction with the people and elders of Haida Gwaii for over thirty years. Congratulations Nancy, it was an honour and privilege to publish your book.
