A few online discoveries

I've recently discovered two great websites; one is for a top-notch weekly news documentary series called FRONTLINE which is broadcast weekly on PBS, the American public television channel. Fifty-one of the programs can be watched online. One show I recommend watching online is called Private Warriors -- it takes an eye-opening look behind-the-scenes at the private contractors in Iraq that are running U.S. military bases, servicing U.S. military supply lines, and protecting U.S. diplomats and generals. One company called KBR has provided the U.S. Army with $11.84 billion dollars in services since 2002; millions of those dollars are under investigation for various over-billing charges. There are as many as 100,000 civilian contractors and 20,000 private security forces working in Iraq today.

The other site I discovered is called Storyline Online; it features actors reading children's books aloud. I recommend listening to Thank you, Mr. Falker.
