More letters from Africa

I've received several letters in the last few weeks from Hameimida, the ten-year-old girl I sponsor in Mauritania, Africa, through World Vision. Hameimida's written me over a dozen letters in the 1.5 years that I've been sponsoring her. In her last letter, which was written in Arabic by a volunteer and then translated into English, she wrote:

Dear Diane,
Me, your child Hameimida and my family send our warm greetings to you and thank you very much for the gift. It made me happy and the photo is wonderful, also the stickers. I always think about you and wish good health to you. I'm longing to see my dear Diane. I thank my supervisor whose great effort contributed in the achievement of this letter.
Love, Hameimida

Little does she know that Jim and I are hoping to visit her next year, as I'm longing to see her too.

Here's the latest picture of my beautiful little Hameimida:
