Hey, where's my kayak?

Jim arrived home from kayaking on the Slocan River yesterday afternoon and noticed his kayak was missing from the back of his truck. He quickly got back into his truck and took off down our driveway to look for it. When he got to the end of our driveway he saw a truck coming up our road with the kayak in it so he signalled the driver to pull over. When Jim asked where he'd found it, the man said, "In the middle of the road." Then he added, "Well ... I saw that kayak sitting in the middle of the road and I said to myself, that doesn't belong there, it's too expensive." :)

Lucky me!

If you're ever visiting Nelson, we both highly recommend having dinner at Fusion Restaurant at 301 Baker Street (formerly the Rice Bowl). Our meal was one of the best we've ever had.
