Happy Canada Day!

On Canada Day, Jim and I became the new owners of a 23 acre piece of land that borders our property. Last month we heard that the owner (who lives in Vancouver) was going to sell it and within hours he accepted our offer. Buying the land ensures we'll never have to worry that our little piece of paradise will be spoiled by someone logging it, or, 1001 other nightmare scenarios. We spent part of the day hiking our new property, then after a game of badminton, we rented a movie called Vera Drake. It's an exceptionally good movie and I highly recommend it. Happy Canada Day!
