Guests arrive in paradise

Our children's author, Karen Autio and her family visited Jim and I last weekend - it was wonderful to see Karen again and spend time with her and her family. We had a great time and it went by too quickly. Karen's daughter uses a wheelchair and because our guestroom is on the second floor of our office building, we set up a bed for her in my office which is on the main floor. I had to explain to a few people why there was a bed in my office!

Will, Karen's computer-genius husband, offered to look at the accounting system I use to see if he could transfer it onto a newer computer for me; it's been on the same computer since I took over the business in the 90s and it would've been a nightmare if the computer had crashed as I had no installation disks for the program that my father wrote back in the 80s when there were no computer publishing programs for publishers. Will figured it all out and successfully transferred it to another computer and it's running like a charm. Thank you, Will!
