My very first quilt

For the last few months I've been working on this quilt for my great-niece, Brooklyn, my sister's first grandchild. Brooklyn had just woken up from a nap and because I had to leave for an appointment, this was the only picture I was able to get of her before the battery in my camera died. My sister told me that after I left, Brooklyn carried the quilt around with her everywhere she went.
I bought the fabric online at a great store called Fabric.com where all fabrics are discounted 20% -70% off the suggested retail price. Great deals are to be had there!
